Candle Burn Tips
Here are some tips to help you make the most of your candle experience:
- Let the wax pool reach the edge of the jar on the first burn
- Keep burn time to no more than four hours at a time
- Trim the wick to 1/4" after each burn
- Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface
- Never leave candles unattended
- Keep candles away from children, pets and anything flammable
- If the flame is dancing too much, extinguish, trim wick, and re-light.
- When your candle has 1/2" - 1/4" of wax left, it's time to say goodbye and give the jar a new life as something else. Not only is it a safety hazard to burn it further, but it can also cause damage to the container or the surface it's on.
What wicks are used?
Each of our jar candles use wood wicks.
How many hours can my 8 oz candle burn?
Our 8 oz candles will burn up to 40 hours.
Why is the surface of my candle slightly cracked?
It's completely natural. Without any stabilizers or harmful additives, beeswax can crack. But don't worry— this won't affect its performance. Enjoy the warm glow knowing that this is the unique and natural nature of beeswax. 🐝
